Prague is the next stop of the common seminar-series dealing with EU civil law training of the NJA and ERA

The 2nd and 3rd of February 2017, an international seminar on ‘Family law: cross-border divorce procedures – maintenance and parental responsibility’ is organised in Prague. Dr. Adrienn Várai-Jeges, the judge of the National Judicial Authority, gives a lecture in the topic of cross-border parental responsibility in the seminar.  Eight Hungarian judges take part in the training. The event comes under the common, ‘Interregional and practice oriented judicial training in the fiels of EU civil law’ project of the National Judicial Authority and the Academy of European Law. The goal of the project is the practical training of EU civil law by enabling the possibility to a mutual exchange of experiences, by sharing best practices and by building mutual confidence among judges. The first course of the seminar-series, ’Cross-border civil proceedings’  was hosted by the National Judicial Authority in the Hungarian Judicial Academy (MIA). The final stop of the seminar-series – ‘Cross-border succession cases – the jurisprudence of the new inheritance legislation’ - is going to be organised in Omsenie, where also one lecturer and eight judges are going to represent the Hungarian justice system.
