Decreas in arrival of civil cases in early 2018
Many actions were brought to the courts and the number of arriving civil cases were exceptionally high at the end of last year. Compared to the previous year, in December 2017 nearly 40% more new cases were registered. The greatest increase was experienced on the Eger Regional Court. At the beginning of this year, however, almost all regional courts experienced that the arrivals were reduced. Compared to the same period of 2017, in January more than 19% and in February almost 25% less civil cases arrived. The number of arriving cases decreased mostly at the Győr Regional Court. The cases arrived in December 2017 increased the workload of the courts, however the lower numbers of arriving cases in January and February 2018 support the timely jurisdiction.
