International Conference on the Aspects of Sovereignty in the Unifying European Area of Justice - Experiences, Challenges, Inspirations

The National Office for the Judiciary organizes an International Conference on the Aspects of Sovereignty in the Unifying European Area of Justice - Experiences, Challenges, Inspirations, on April 8 to 9 2019. The present conference is meant to be an annual meeting point and a professional workshop. 

The event will focus on the experience of the national courts 'administrative system, the challenges of the 21st century courts, and the impact of European courts' on national courts’ jurisprudence. 

The first day of the two-day conference for about two hundred people will be held at the Palace of Justice. 

The conference will be attended by renowned Hungarian and foreign speakers, including constitutional judges Prof. Dr. András Varga Zs. and Prof. Dr. Pokol Béla; as well as Wolfgang Heusel,  Director of the Academy of European Law, Prof. Dr. Simone Benvenuti, associate professor at Roma Tre University and Prof. Dr. Bertrand Mathieu, professor of law at the Sorbonne University in Paris. 

On the second day of the conference, about 60 participants will process the topics in English-language workshops.

The aim of the National Office for the Judiciary is to create a professional workshop where both theoretical and practical professionals from EU member states may exchange their views, experience and knowledge.
