Nearly 200 remote hearings between September and November 2018

In a period of three months, 96 judges used on 191 occasions a total of 72 remote hearing points established by mid-September 2018 nationwide. 51% of the hearings were conducted in November. With the help of the equipment, protected persons as well as victims needing special treatment, such as juveniles, can confess their testimony in a separate room in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the defendants.

The all-judge meetings are convened by the president of the court and the participants are the judges assigned to the specific court. The duties of the meetings include: to express an opinion on the application of court leaders, to elect a delegate for the election of NOJ members and to elect the judicial council.

Rules of visitation rights and domestic restraint are affected by a recent Government Decree

Proceedings on the enforcement of resolutions relating to visitation rights and proceedings on restraining measures in case of domestic violence are affected by Government decree 176/2020 (V.4.) on temporary measures on visitation rights and domestic restraint during the state of danger, announced on 4 May 2020.

Dr. Sorok Norbert a Zalaegerszegi Törvényszék elnöke

Egy év megbízott elnöki tisztség után, 2015. június 15-től kezdődően dr. Handó Tünde, az Országos Bírósági Hivatal elnöke dr. Sorok Norbertet nevezte ki a Zalaegerszegi Törvényszék elnökének. Az elnöki tisztség 6 éves időtartamra, 2021. június 14. napjáig szól.

Gyulai Törvényszék - peres eljárások felfüggesztése

A 2014. július 26-án hatályba lépett 2014. évi XXXVIII. törvény rendelkezése alapján a Gyulai Törvényszék, illetve a törvényszék területén működő járásbíróságok bírái – az Országos Bírói Tanács határozatának megfelelően – soron kívül rendelkeztek a devizahitelekkel kapcsolatos valamennyi polgári peres eljárás felfüggesztéséről.
