Ministerial Conference on Justice in Strasbourg – the digital court in focus

„European justice in the face of the challenges of digital technology” a two-day Ministerial Conference on Justice was held in Strasbourg. Representatives of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe exchanged views on new opportunities for access to justice in the digital age and on the impact of digital technology on justice.
Dr. János Bóka, State Secretary for European and International Justice Cooperation and dr. Zoltán Péter, Deputy Head of the Department for Electronic Procedures of the National Office for the Judiciary attended the conference on behalf of Hungary.
In his speech, dr. János Bóka presented the significant achievements of the Hungarian judiciary in the field of digitalization. Many new developments were discussed, including the "Digital Court" project, the introduction of the e-folder and the results of the remote hearings.
