Families in Focus

Members of the court staff today raise 7600 children under the age of 18. This makes it especially important to create balance between career and private life. The judiciary helps its workers by a complex system of family support: Welfare Program and since 2016, the Sustainable Development Program both serve the harmony between family, career and health.
A great number of family law cases are initiated, making it essential for the judges to help clients in the courtrooms with high quality professional knowledge and empathy. In addition to effective work organization, it is also important to provide clear information on court proceedings and to ensure that as many people as possible have access to court mediation.
Child-centered Justice Working Group has been operating since 2012, creating the foundation for Families in Focus. The good practices and accumulated knowledge will be published on the central courts website.
