Hungarian court success at the World Championship of stenographers and court reporters

The world’s best stenographers, typists and court reporters matched their knowledge at the 52nd Intersteno Congress and World Championship that took place in Cagliari, Sardinia between 13-19 July. Several Hungarian court professionals attended the event, e.g. Krisztina Kollárikné Terjéki, clerk of the XVIII-XIX. District Court of Budapest, who finished second in the category of Note Taking and Reporting.
Two colleagues of the Regional Court of Miskolc also came off well at the Congress. Ágnes Nagyné Bíró finished in the leading group, she earned 7th place in Note Taking and Reporting and 16th place in Text Production on standard keyboard. For this achievement she needed 520 strokes per minute, which is the best Hungarian result of this year’s championship. In the category of Audio Transcription, the professional of Miskolc reached the 24th place of ranking.
Georgina Burányi also arrived from Miskolc to the Congress, who – despite her young age – was confident competitor of the international competition.
