Győr Regional Court annulled the first instance jugdment in the Csaba Vasvári vs. President of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) case and eliminated  proceedings.
Csaba Vasvári applied to the labour court because his application to a judicial post was not successful, which he found detrimental. In its judgement, the second instance court ruled that the first instance decision in favour of Csaba Vasvári and against the President of NOJ was unfounded, and the proceedings should have been terminated at first instance.

This is the second proceedings related to his unsuccessful application that Csaba Vasvári has lost.

Today’s decision represents an unambiguous and conforting end to a long debate, which was suitable to diminish the prestige of Hungarian courts due to its regrettable media coverage. Tthe selection of Hungarian judges is lawful and professional.
The decision is final.
