Another unworthy attack against the Hungarian jurisdiction

On May 9, 2019, the General Assembly of the European Association of Judges (EAJ) in Copenhagen adopted a report condemning the Hungarian jurisdiction. The National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) turned to the President of the EAJ because of the false allegations, factual and legal errors included in the report.

Enforcement proceedings

The decisions of various courts and authorities resolving legal disputes as well as certain claims based on certain documents must be enforced by way of judicial enforcement proceedings, a nonlitigous proceeding, The rules of court execution proceedings are laid down in Act LII of 1994 (hereinafter: Judicial Enforcement Act).

Judicial enforcement proceedings are of two stages, namely ordering and implementation of enforcement.

Enforcement proceedings are instituted at the request of the party requesting enforcement.

Kihirdették a bűncselekménnyel okozott kár, illetve sérelemdíj megtérítése iránt indított gyorsított perről szóló LXX. törvényt

2020. július 8-án kihirdetették a bűncselekménnyel okozott kár, illetve sérelemdíj megtérítése iránt indított gyorsított perről szóló LXX. törvényt, amely egy új, különleges polgári peres eljárást vezet be. A törvény 2020. július 9-én lépett hatályba.

Fővárosi Törvényszék - Megkezdődött a perújítási tárgyalás P. T. és társai ügyében

Megkezdődött a Fővárosi Törvényszéken a P. T. és társai ellen - előre kitervelten, nyereségvágyból elkövetett emberölés bűntette miatt - indult ügy perújítási tárgyalása. A perújításra azért került sor, mert a jogerős szabadságvesztés büntetését töltő J. R. olyan nyilatkozatot tett, miszerint ő követte el azt a gyilkosságot, ami miatt P. T.-t, mint felbujtót, egyik társát mint elkövetőt, másik társát pedig mint bűnsegédet ítélte el a bíróság.

Fővárosi Törvényszék – Ítélethirdetés lesz az ún. „Quaestor-ügyben”

A Fővárosi Törvényszék 2024. szeptember 2-án ítéletet hirdet abban a büntetőügyben, amelyben a Quaestor-cégcsoport vezetője és munkatársai vádlottként, míg a nagyszámú károsult sértettként várja a bíróság ítéletét.

Az ügy 1548 oldal terjedelmű – azóta többször módosított és kiegészített – vádirata 2016. február 5-én érkezett a bíróságra. A nyomozati iratok meghaladták a 132 ezer oldalt, míg a mellékletek között 104 db CD lemez és 5 terrabájt kapacitású winchester került becsatolásra.

Progresses in the field of remote interviewing: a cooperation agreement has been concluded between the National Office for the Judiciary and the NISZ National Infocommunications Services Company Ltd.

A strategic cooperation agreement has been concluded between the National Office for the Judiciary and the NISZ National Infocommunications Services Company Ltd. (NISZ Ltd.) with the aim of further developing the courts’ infrastructure in the field of remote interviewing and installing image and sound recording apparatus in the courtrooms. The agreement was signed by Dr. Tünde Handó, President of the National Office for the Judiciary and Ferenc Bancsics, CEO of NISZ Ltd. on 12 February 2019.
