A two-day long international conference titled ‘Judicial Cooperation with Candidate and Neighboring Countries of the European Union’ was organized by the Ministry of Justice and the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) for the judicial organizations on 19-20 June 2019 in Budapest.

The National Judicial Council (NJC) made a unanimous decision, supporting dr. György Senyei's nomination as president of the National Office for the Judiciary – announced NJC spokesman dr. Viktor Vadász at a press conference held at the NOJ. The NJC heard the presidential candidate this morning.
During a five-month period 207 judges held 447 distant-hearings with the newly developed distant-hearing system. Penal institutions were the second most-used place for this purpose with 94 occasions, including 18 foreign spots.
