Dr. Gabriella Kiss has been entrusted with the presidential tasks at the Szeged Regional Court of Appeal starting from 1st April for a fixed period of one year – announced Dr. Tünde Handó, President of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ), at the judicial general meeting.
Continuing the success of the last six years’ conferences with the participation of 584 guests from 25 European countries in total, the National Office for the Judiciary organises the next international Conference on Courts and Communication in Budapest on 15-16 October 2019.
In December 2018, 44 judges held a total of 103 remote hearings, which means a seven-fold increase compared to the first month, September. The hearings took place on 88 occasions in the penitentiary, in 7 cases in the courtroom, and 8 times from abroad. During the period under review, 67 accused, 22 convicted persons or other parties, 2 persons under proceedings, 2 civil litigants and 10 witnesses were heard with the help of the new equipment.
According to the amendment entered into force in July 2012 the NJC shall determine its budget for the coming year, about which it makes an agreement with the president of the NOJ. The independence of the NJC is underlined by having a separate and independent budget line in the budget of the judiciary.
The NJC discussed its budget several times for 2013 and as a result of that the president of the NJC has signed the agreement on the budget of the NJC for 2013 with the president of the NOJ on 13 December 2012.
Az Országos Bírói Tanács 2017. október 10-én megtartott ülését dr. Major Zsolt, az OBT soros elnöke nyitotta meg. A Tanács az első napirendi pont keretében hallgatta meg az Országos Bírósági Hivatal elnökének 2016. évi beszámolóját. Dr. Handó Tünde egyebek mellett kiemelte, hogy a bírósági szervezet feladata felvenni a versenyt a XXI. századdal, ennek keretében pedig a cél a bürokrácia csökkentése, a bírósághoz való hozzáférés és az ügyfelek megfelelő tájékoztatásának biztosítása.
On 7 April 2020, János Áder, president of the republic has appointed Katalin Csillám and Mónika Erőss as vice-presidents of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ).
A polgári perrendtartásról szóló 2016. évi CXXX. törvény 148. §-a alapján 2021. július 15. és 2021. augusztus 20. között a bíróságok ítélkezési szünetet tartanak. Annak kezdő napja 2021. július 15., a Bíróságok Napja, mely a bírák jogállásáról és javadalmazásáról szóló 2011. évi CLXII. törvény 56. §-a értelmében munkaszüneti nap, e napon minden bíróságon szünetel az ügyfélfogadás.
Nagyszabású digitális fejlesztés zajlott az elmúlt évben a Kecskeméti Törvényszéken – hangsúlyozta az összbírói értekezletet megelőző sajtótájékoztatón a Kecskeméti Törvényszék elnöke. Dr. Bicskei Ferenc kiemelte a távmeghallgatást, az elektronikus kapcsolattartást, illetve azokat a mobil informatikai eszközöket is, amelyeket a bíráknak, titkároknak biztosított az Országos Bírósági Hivatal. A digitális kapcsolattartás a jövő – tette hozzá.
