Today continued the trial of the so-called Parndorf-case with the questioning of the first defendant. The first defendant refused to testify claiming that he hadn't heard the other defendants statements yet. Therefore the judge, Jádi János read out the previous records of interrogation made during the investigation, in which the first defendant hadn't given any essential statement, either.

 

After that, the judge called the second defendant in the courtroom, who also exercised his procedural right not to testify. Hence, the judge read out the second defendant's previous testimonies, in which he stated that in the 'deathtruck'-case he only had translated between the first defendant and the Bulgarian drivers of the truck. He highlighted that he and his partners did not wanted the death of the victims.
