On the occasion of the Day of the Prosecution, on June 11 2019, a ceremony was held by the Office of the Attorney General in the ceremonial hall of the Curia. At the event, the Attorney General, dr. The president of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) announced the Sustainable Values Program (SVP), consisting of three pillars, with the aim of transmitting the values of the judiciary for the posterity by relying on past traditions and results already achieved.
In 2018, 132.560 civil and economic cases were brought before the courts, of which 101.000 belonged under the new Civil Procedure Code. In the second half of the year (1 July – 31 December), 57.000 claims were filed by citizens under the new Civil Procedure Code which represents 30% increase compared to the first half of the year.
