In a period of three months, 96 judges used on 191 occasions a total of 72 remote hearing points established by mid-September 2018 nationwide. 51% of the hearings were conducted in November. With the help of the equipment, protected persons as well as victims needing special treatment, such as juveniles, can confess their testimony in a separate room in a relaxed atmosphere, away from the defendants.

On the session of 13th of May 2013, the National Council for the Judiciary listened to Mr. László Örkényi, deputy head of department's exposition of affairs on the most important characteristics of the case circulation at courts in 2013. During 2013, the total number of cases arriving to courts have increased by 3 per cent, respect to 2012. The surplus, approximately 460 000 new case arrival is due to the increasement of contravention and registry court cases.

President of the Constitutional Court, dr. Tamás Sulyok took measures to maintain the functioning of the Constitutional Court (CC). The purpose of the measures is to enable the boards to meet and to take decisions during the coronavirus outbreak, while maintaining the health of CC judges and court staff.
