The National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) is hosting a Conference celebrating the 15th anniversary of Hungary’s accession to the European Union on 27 May 2019, where dr. Tünde Handó, President of the NOJ and Tamás Vargha, state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade will give solemn opening speeches. 

On 1st January 2019, Érd District Court started to operate with eighteen judges who had previously worked at the District Court of either Budakörnyék or Budaörs. According to Dr. Tamás Gerber, President of Budapest Environs Regional Court, the balance of the first one and a half months is clearly positive: clients are very pleased with the new court, where they can deal with their cases quickly and in proper conditions thanks to the “Client Centre”.

2023. július 7. napján dr. Senyei György az Országos Bírósági Hivatal elnöke és dr. Matusik Tamás az Országos Bírói Tanács elnöke aláírták a 2023. június 1. napjával önálló központi költségvetési szervvé és jogi személlyé vált Országos Bírói Tanács és Országos Bírósági Hivatal közötti Munkamegosztási Megállapodást, amely nyomán az OBH közvetlen támogatást nyújt az OBT szervezeti felépítésében.

Dr. Senyei György, az Országos Bírósági Hivatal (OBH) elnöke, valamint dr. Matusik Tamás, az Országos Bírói Tanács (OBT) elnöke 2023. november 23. napján egyeztettek a bíróságok szervezetéről és igazgatásáról szóló 2011. évi CLXI. törvény (Bszi) 2023. június 1. napjától hatályos, 197/F.§ (3)-(4) bekezdésében foglalt, 9 hónapos ún. inkubációs időszakkal kapcsolatos igazgatási kérdésekről.
