Last year 72 courtrooms have been equipped by the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) in cooperation with the National Infocommunications Service Company Ltd. (NISZ) for the performance of remote hearings. Nevertheless, developments have not stopped, by the end of this year, the innovative technology will be applicable in 184 courtrooms.

The National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) has created a cultured, convenient, simple, fast and secure administration environment for the satisfaction of its clients, thus Hungary has added a new chapter in the area of developments in the field of court support - emphasized dr. District courts reduced the number of cases pending for more than two years from 10,110 in 2010 to 5,772, and the first-instance councils of regional courts managed to reduce 3,635 cases in 2010 to 1,771 by the end of 2018.
At its meeting on 6 December 2019, the Parliamentary Committee on Justice heard dr. György Barna Senyei, the candidate for the presidency of the National Office for the Judiciary. The committee voted in favor of the candidate with 10 yes and 1 abstention.
Dr. Árpád Répássy and dr. Sándor Vajas, vice-presidents of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ), welcomed dr. Judit Zsófia Oltai, President of the Hungarian Association of Judges (MABIE), to sign a grant agreement between the two organizations.
Numerous positive feedback were received on the International Conference on Courts and Communication on 10-11 October. The event organized annually by the National Office for the Judiciary, for the seventh time this year attracted around 80 guests from 19 countries.
