A Hódmezővásárhelyi Járásbíróság 2025. április 30. napján meghozott és május 14. napján jogerőre emelkedett büntetővégzésével 1 év 6 hónap próbára bocsátást alkalmazott a fiatalkorú vádlottal szemben, folytatólagosan elkövetett közveszéllyel fenyegetés bűntette miatt. Továbbá külön magatartási szabályként előírta számára, hogy naponta legfeljebb 1 órát töltsön számítógépes játékokkal, online, az interneten töltött aktivitásáról a pártfogónak rendszeresen számoljon be, valamint egészségi állapotához és az időjáráshoz mérten heti legalább 2 órát szabadtéri vagy sport foglalkozással töltsön.

Handó Tünde, az Országos Bírósági Hivatal elnöke a Digitális Nyílt Nap road-show következő állomásán, a Tatabányai Törvényszéken 2018. november 23-án. Hozzátette, a digitalizáció terén nagyon nagy a verseny, a bíróságok nem maradhatnak le.
The extraordinary suspension of judicial activities – in effect since the 15th of March 2020 - has ended. According to Government Decree 74/2020 (III.19.) on certain procedural measures prevailing during the state of danger the courts also operate during the state of danger, however, the measures to protect the health of court staff and clients in the current epidemiological situation must continue to be complied.
Some so-called “revolutionary” members of the not so legitimate National Judicial Council (NJC) are still making false accusations against the president of the NOJ. Their only goal is to create chaos as big as possible around the courts.
District courts reduced the number of cases pending for more than two years from 10,110 in 2010 to 5,772, and the first-instance councils of regional courts managed to reduce 3,635 cases in 2010 to 1,771 by the end of 2018.
Dr. Tünde Handó, President of the National Office for the Judiciary (NOJ) and Péter Szíjjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade have concluded a cooperation agreement on 17 April 2019. According to the agreement, Hungarian courts will contribute in the development of Hungary’s digitial export. The agreement is based on the achievements of the NOJ in court digitalization, which was acknowledged by the European Commission in its annual justice scoreboard.
More than 2 million electronic submissions were received by the courts between 1 January 2013 and 1 January 2018. In the civil law area (civil, economic, administrative and labour cases) 1 275 676 while in the non-litigious cases (bankruptcy, liquidation, enforcement, other non-litigious civil cases, registration of civil organizations) 333 751, in criminal and criminal offence cases 451,410 submissions were received in the above mentioned period of time.
This year the annual two-week-long, short-term program by the European Judicial Training Network was held from the 16th of September. The Hungarian judiciary welcomed foreign judges from all around Europe. This year there were 12 participants from Germany, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Finland, France, Poland and Estonia. The programs took place in Budapest on the first week, and then in Debrecen and Győr on the second week.
